What are the special and key fortification buildings?

Buildings shall be divided into four seismic fortification categories, namely, special fortification category, key fortification category, standard fortification category and moderate fortification category, according to the importance of their use functions.

Among them, Class A (special fortification category) and Class B (key fortification category) buildings should strengthen their seismic measures according to the requirement that the seismic fortification intensity of the area should be increased by one degree, but when the seismic fortification intensity is 9 degrees, the seismic measures should be taken according to the requirement that the seismic fortification intensity is higher than 9 degrees. Therefore, these two types of buildings are also one of the key objects in the application of seismic reduction and isolation technology.
